I purchased this car 4 years ago, shortly after completing university and while working at my first "real" job after completing school. I wanted a car that drove exceptionally well, while being usable in winter, being able to haul me, my friends and our gear and most importantly, had rear-wheel drive. After owning and driving a Chevrolet Cavalier on a daily basis, I thought it was time to step into something a bit more reliable and comfortable.
Behold, my 330. I started out looking for a used 325i, as I was under the impression it had the right amount of power and luxury for me. Boy was I wrong. After ending up at a dealership with a nicely modified 330i and no 325's in sight, after some encouragement from my sister, I decided to take it for a test drive. That's all it took. I was taken aback by the leather, dash and entire interior. After a few spirited 0-100km/h runs between stop lights, I decided a 325i just wouldn't keep me happy, and made the decision to get a 330i. I wasn't quite ready to fork out for an M3, so this seemed like the logical choice.
A few weeks later, after missing 2 opportunities on 330's I liked, I found this one. After promising myself (and my dad) that I wouldn't change a thing on the car and would drive it how she came, the mod bug eventually hit and I started changing things around here and there.
A new M3 style bumper, M3 LED tailights, M3 spoiler, 19" rims and a stereo later, my car is exactly where I want her to be. She still looks like she could have come from the factory this way (except for the rims), which was my goal all along - to have a nice daily driver that stands out ever-so slightly from the crowd. After driving a car that turned every head at the corner for 4 years, it was time to relax. View mod-list

After spending a few summers working, working part-time during high-school, I saved up enough to buy myself a black 1996 Chevy Cavalier. It wasn't much to look at, but there isn't much you can buy with $10,000 when you're in school. At this point, I had no interest in doing anything to a car. I just wanted to listen to loud music and have some wheels to cruise in the evening and socialize.
Then I drove by a performance shop. On a nice spring morning, I was driving and found myself in front of Soundspeed Motorsports. They had a beautifully modified Cavalier in their parking lot. I had no idea you could do these things to cars! After going inside and meeting the owner of the shop (and the car), I learnt everything I needed to build the car you see today. A friendship would be forged that is still going strong. I started working more and more, to buy up every part I could fit on the car. I ended up with a car that looked like it came out of the movie, The Fast and the Furious, one of my favorite all-time movie series. View mod-list

Low and behold, we have a modified Cavalier. Low and behold, here begins my long and aggravating history with Toronto, Peel and Vaughn Police. Was it worth it to get pulled over 1-2 times per week, only to have police officers peer all over the car to ensure it was safely modified and search for ANY reason to impound my car for street racing or illegal modifications? In one word, YES!!!
Take a look and see for yourself!
